Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

DigiOne ("we", "us") is a service of Digilearning. We care about protecting the young people we exist for, and we handle your data accordingly. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have. If anything here is unclear, email info@digione.co.uk.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Digilearning (trading as DigiOne). Contact: info@digione.co.uk. We have a named safeguarding lead and treat any information about young people with particular care.

What we collect on this website

When you join the founding list on digione.co.uk, we collect only the details you give us:

This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Use of the DigiOne platform itself (app.digione.co.uk) is governed by the in-app terms and privacy notice you agree to when you create an account.

RISE Bootcamp and other events

When you sign up for the RISE Bootcamp (or a similar Digilearning event), we collect the details you give us on the sign-up form so we can manage your place and run the day safely:

Some of this (access needs, dietary requirements) can be sensitive information about your health or beliefs. We only collect it because you choose to give it, and your explicit consent is our lawful basis for that information. The rest we use on the basis of your consent too, which you can withdraw at any time. Access needs, dietary requirements, and the free-school-meals and first-in-family answers are seen only by the Digilearning team running the event, and are never shared with our venue or partners against your name.

When you sign up we also create a free DigiOne account for you, so you can explore careers and prep straight away. You activate it by setting your own password through the link we email you; until you do, the account cannot be used. Your use of that account is then covered by the in-app privacy notice.

We only share your individual details with our event partners (for example Accenture or Women in Financial Services) if you tick the box that asks us to, and even then only your name, email and areas of interest, so they can tell you about relevant roles and opportunities. Your access needs, dietary requirements, phone number and the free-school-meals and first-in-family answers are never shared with partners. If you ask us not to be photographed, you will be given a different lanyard on the day and we will do our best to keep you out of event photos.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details to add you to the founding list, send you your invitation when a place opens, and occasionally update you about the launch. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe option in any email.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We use trusted service providers only to run our own systems (for example our hosting and email on our managed UK server). Where we work with partners, brands or employers, they only ever see aggregate, non-identifying information — never your individual profile without your consent.

How long we keep it

We keep founding-list details until we launch to you or until you ask us to remove them, whichever comes first, and no longer than is necessary for that purpose.

For the RISE Bootcamp and other events, we delete the sensitive details (access needs and dietary requirements) within one month of the event. We keep the rest of your sign-up details for up to twelve months after the event so we can follow up with opportunities and report to funders in a grouped way, after which we delete them or make them non-identifying. You can ask us to remove your event details at any time by emailing info@digione.co.uk. Any DigiOne account you created is kept for as long as you use it, and you can ask us to close it at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any right, email info@digione.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Digilearning's ICO registration number is ZC204838.

Keeping your data safe

Your data is held on our own managed UK server, protected in transit by HTTPS and by server-level security controls. We only keep what we need, and access is limited to the people who run DigiOne.
